My son is 18 months and loves ride-ons. He hasn't quite fully got the hang of them quite yet, so I thought this one would be great. It's very simple. It has a basic body, wheels that turn well on the hard floor we have. I sat on it myself and zoomed across the kitchen to show him, so it is very sturdy! However, when he rides it, he slips off of the back. He can push himself around for a bit, but then he tries to get off, and flips backward. Maybe he just needs a little more coordination, but I think a little bump towards the back would be helpful to keep the little one in place. Click To Product review

We are trying to decide between this and Dora the Explorer scooter for Christmas, we decided to go with a razor, seems to be the best. The salads are on the street, sidewalk, floor, kitchen and not a single problem. Quiet and solid, and ads. My 4-year-old daughter asked for a scooter for Christmas from Santa, so I immediately went to Amazon to browse their selection. This scooter is perfect!

- It's so stable, that it stands upright by itself, which makes it easy for her just learning how to ride a scooter.
- It's very durable. Being 4, you know how kids are going from one thing to the next. The scooter is dropped to the ground without hesitation, but isn't impacted at all. I was worried about it being plastic vs. metal, but this isn't an issue. It's lighter and easier to move than a metal Razor.

The wide foot base is nice as she learns how to balance. My 2 1/2-year-old also tries to ride this scooter and does pretty well.

I bought this for a two-year old's birthday. I wasn't sure if she would be able to use it by herself, but she has 3 older brothers with razor scooters who I figured would help her. It took less than a week for her to get the hang of it herself. She plays with it every chance she gets and won't let her brothers near it! It's very stable and she learned how to push herself off and coast on it. I also gave her the Disney helmet and knee pads. This is a great toy to get the kids out of the house and away from the computer and t.v.
